INE just published an interesting infographic on the lifetime career of a Cisco certified professional. It outlines average salary, job outlook, where the jobs are at and how an average time it takes to study for a certification. Take a look for yourself:

Hi everyone,
I added a new feature to the site, Careers. Sometimes I have a few people who are looking for qualified engineers and I know some of you in the group were looking for a good opportunity. This is the best way for me to share this with you. You can even apply for these positions on this site. Add your resume and it gets sent to the right person.

I would like everyone to know that the meetings will come back again! We were having a slow patch where we couldn’t get any speakers but things will start kicking up again.
If you have any ideas or would like to teach/speak to a group of people, please shoot me an email through the contact form!

Hi Everyone, Rowell here. I’m beginning to see a slowdown in our meetings. Getting a speaker for the group has proved to be challenging.
I’m reaching out to our group members and anyone else who may be interested in speaking for the group.
You can pick the topic and teach the group what you already know or what you’ve learned. Here are some examples:
- Network design
- Security
- BGP
- OSPF neighborships
Those are just to name a few.
If there’s interest to have an informal group meeting to discuss current trends or issues people come across at work then that’s okay too. We can meet over coffee or pizza.
My goal is to keep the community going and have us network to develop relationships. If anyone has any comments or suggestions please comment below!
